Exhibition introduction

The Brazilian International Machinery and Machine Tools Exhibition (FEIMEC) is co-organized by INFORMA Exhibition company and the Brazilian Machinery Manufacturers Association (ABIMAQ), and is held every two years at the Sao Paulo International Exhibition Center. The exhibition is currently the most professional and large-scale machinery and equipment exhibition in Brazil and South America. In recent years, with the rapid growth of the Brazilian machinery and equipment market, the exhibition has become one of the most important exhibitions in the Latin American industry, but also one of the world's traditional integrated machinery exhibitions, including welding and cutting products, the Brazilian welding Association organized the industry's enterprises to participate in the exhibition.

A total of 900 exhibitors participated in the last exhibition, with an exhibition area of 62,000 square meters, and the exhibition also attracted more than 55,000 professional visitors from all over the world. A large number of Latin American buyers from Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Chile and Bulgaria gathered here, fully demonstrating Brazil's central position as the South American market.

China is Brazil's largest trading partner and largest export destination. In 2022, Brazil and China's imports and exports amounted to $150.463 billion, an increase of 11.12% over the previous year, continuing to rank first among trading partners. Among the products imported to Brazil in 2022, mechanical and electrical products ranked second, accounting for 24%, with a value of $65.5 billion, an increase of 14.95% over the previous year. It is understood from the organizer that in 2024, whether the number of exhibitors or the exhibition area will increase significantly, the exhibition will build a bridge of communication for South American local and machinery industry manufacturers, suppliers and customers from all over the world, and become a good opportunity to explore the South American market.
