And because of neutrality, the gas will stll move in its original direction.The liquid left on the filter will be diverted to the bottom of the separator for condensation and discharge.

When the stearm enters the swirl cylinder from the inlet pipe, the air flow will change from linear motion to circular motion. Mostof the rotatina air flow flows dwnward from the cylinder in a soiral shape along the cylinder wall and toward the cone. This isan extemal swirl. The steam generates a force in the process of rotation, throwing the droplets with high density towards thecylinder wall. When the droplets contact the cylinder wall, they lose the inertial force, and fall along the wall by the momentumof inlet velocity and downard gravity, entering the underflow port.
